Over 39 years as a strength and conditioning coach, I've guided women through transformative journeys. Menopause challenged me with muscle loss, joint pain, a frozen shoulder and meno belly double back fat and diminished confidence. This period revealed the importance of maintaining strength as we age and making small adjustments daily.
Many women, like myself, often prioritise everyone else and neglect their own health. This can make exercise daunting, especially when past efforts haven't succeeded. My story shows the power of valuing yourself and taking strategic steps towards self-care.
